General Experience Highlights

As a partner with BlumShapiro Consulting, Michael leads our Technology Consulting Practice. He consults with a range of businesses and industries on issues related to technology strategy and direction, enterprise and solution architecture, service oriented architecture and solution delivery.

Michael’s experience includes the definition of technology blueprints and roadmaps, platform advisory, architecture design and assessments, process guidance and full lifecycle application development across a variety of industries with particular strengths in insurance, financial services, high technology and professional services.

Michael currently holds Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD), Microsoft Solution Framework Endorsed Practitioner and Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications.

Prior to joining BlumShapiro Consulting, Michael spent many years leading consulting engagements for Microsoft Gold Certified Partners providing expertise across both current and legacy technology. He was the strategic architect at Aetna, one of the nation’s largest health insurers, responsible for evaluating technology solutions and developing strategies for implementation. Michael joined BlumShapiro Consulting in 2006.
